Foresters Start MWC Play with Grueling Victory over Cornell

The Forester women’s tennis team dropped the doubles point before coming back and prevailing 5-2 over Cornell College on Saturday in the first Midwest Conference match of the season for both programs. The Rams had already posted victories at #1 and #3 doubles when Lake Forest’s Anya Mookencherry and Bebe Phramthong finally finished off a 7-6 (8-6) triumph at #2.
