Grinnell football team drops road game at Concordia of Chicago
RIVER FOREST, Ill. – Grinnell College’s football team dug itself into a first-half hole and couldn’t quite climb out as Concordia of Chicago posted a 42-7 victory Saturday afternoon. Grinnell’s defense forced a punt on Concordia’s opening drive, but the Cougars scored on their next two possessions. The Pioneer defense held the hosts on their next two series, the second ended when CJ Readon ’27 picked off a pass. However, the Cougars tacked on two more touchdowns for a 28-0 halftime lead.
