Men’s Cross Country Records Runner-Up Finish at Delaware State Sting Invite

SMYRNA, Del. – The Coppin State men's cross country team opened its 2026 season with a strong second-place finish at the Delaware State University Sting Invite on Friday afternoon at the Delaware State Research and Outreach Center. The Eagles finished with 47 points, trailing only host Delaware State, which recorded 22 points. Morgan State finished third with 85 points, followed by Maryland Eastern Shore, Lincoln (Pa.), Bowie State and Cheyney.
