Men’s Soccer: Gegg Shines with Two Goals in 3-1 Win

CLINTON, Miss. — Karim Gegg scored twice, including the go-ahead goal, and Mississippi Christian pulled away for a 3-1 victory over Union (Tenn.) on Saturday at Robert P. Longabaugh Field. Gegg erased an early deficit with goals in the 26th and 34th minutes, giving the Choctaws a 2-1 lead before halftime. Luke Nolan added an insurance goal in the 86th minute as Mississippi Christian improved to 2-2-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
