Men’s Soccer opens conference play with win at UNE

BIDDEFORD, Maine – The JWU (Providence) men’s soccer team received two goals from Bruno Teixeira as part of a 3-1 victory over the University of New England in Conference of New England (CNE) action Saturday afternoon. Teixeira’s big day got going in the 14th minute when the senior scored to give the Wildcats (2-0-2, 1-0-0 CNE) the advantage. The Nor’Easters (4-2-0, 0-1-0 CNE) tied the match when Cole Osburn scored on a penalty kick in the 38th minute to send the game to halftime knotted at one.
