CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa – The third-ranked Johnson County Community College volleyball team opened play at the Kirkwood Classic on Friday by splitting two matches against nationally-ranked competition. The Cavaliers defeated Sauk Valley Community College 3-1 in their tournament opener before falling 3-0 to top-ranked Kirkwood Community College, leaving JCCC with an 11-1 record on the season.
