NOTEBOOK – Big Plays Lead the Way for Troy Win over Alabama State

Big plays on offense helped vault Troy out to an early lead en route to a 34-17 victory over Alabama State on Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium. The fireworks started early. Troy won the opening coin toss, and in somewhat of a rarity, elected to receive the ball to begin the game. It proved to be a good decision.
