Orange Held Scoreless in Loss to Boston College

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Syracuse men's soccer (4-3-0, 0-2-0) fell to Boston College (4-1-1, 1-1-0), 2-0, on Friday night at Newton Campus Lacrosse and Soccer Field. Despite outshooting the Eagles 19-8, the Orange were unable to find the back of the net. Michael Asare put Boston College on the board in the 53rd minute, and Russell Brown added an insurance goal off an assist from Moritz Gundelach. Kyle Jansen turned aside one shot in net for Syracuse. The Orange look to bounce back as they travel to Colgate on Tuesday, September 15 at 7 p.m.
