Ravenwood football shuts down Summit despite a downpour

BRENTWOOD − Caden Pace ran for 76 yards and had seven catches for 75 yards to lead Ravenwood to a 28-0 whitewashing of Summit in a massive downpour on Sept. 11. The game was delayed 30 minutes because of inclement weather, the threat of lightning halting play in the third quarter with Ravenwood leading, 7-0. When the teams returned to the field, Pace scored a touchdown to give Ravenwood a 13-0 lead it would not relinquish.
