Rock splits pair on day two of SRU Invite

SLIPPERY ROCK, Pa. The Slippery Rock University volleyball team closed out the 2026 SRU Invitational by splitting a pair of matches Saturday at Morrow Field House. The Rock opened the day by sweeping Roberts Wesleyan University (25-21, 25-14, 25-22) followed by a three-set loss to Bloomsburg University (25-21, 25-23, 25-21). SRU exits the weekend having evenly split its first 10 matches of the season. Roberts Wesleyan dropped to 1-7 in its loss to The Rock, while Bloomsburg improved to 6-2 with its victory.
