Volleyball Falls in Final Match in Hawaii

HONOLULU — The Central Arkansas volleyball team (0-7) lost its match to Hawaii (6-2) 3-0 on Friday, falling by set scores of 25-14, 25-20 and 28-26. Central Arkansas was held to 29 kills and a .079 hitting percentage, while Hawaii totaled 47 kills and hit .248. Hawaii built a sizeable lead in the first set, including a 4-0 run to go up nine, 20-11. Tatelyn Brandsma stopped that run with a kill assisted by Ella Chaney , and Kennady Martindale later added a kill from Brandsma for Central Arkansas’ final point of the set.
