Wheaton volleyball opens action in day one at the Wartburg Invite

Waverly, Iowa – The Wheaton volleyball team traveled to Iowa this weekend for three matches at the Wartburg Invite. The first two of the three matches came on Friday as Wheaton faced Gustavus Adolphus and UW-Stout. Gustavus Adolphus defeated the Thunder 3-0 (25-15, 25-13, 25-17) in the opener and UW-Stout was a 3-0 (25-23, 25-14, 25-21) victor in the nightcap. Wheaton closes out its weekend in Iowa on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. against the host Knights of Wartburg College.
