Women’s Soccer Falls on the Road to Mount Saint Mary (NY)
NEWBURGH, N.Y. — The Rutgers-Newark women’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to Mount Saint Mary on Saturday afternoon at Kaplan Field. The Scarlet Raiders (2-1-1) fell behind in the 13th minute when Mount Saint Mary’s Grace Morra found the back of the net off an assist from Kaitlyn Shotter. The goal proved to be the difference as Rutgers-Newark was unable to find an equalizer over the final 78 minutes.
