Women’s tennis conquers Illinois Wesleyan

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. — The Augustana Vikings women’s tennis team earned its first CCIW win after defeating the Illinois Wesleyan Titans on Saturday by a score of 6-1. In doubles action, Anna-Maria Huebel and Colleen Larry took the top spot with a 6-3 victory. Maripaz Ramirez and Estefi Casillas-Velasco earned a 6-4 win in the No. 2 slot. The Titans took the third matchup, but Augie led 1-0 entering singles aciton.
