Early goals costly as Marauders fall to #5 Mavericks
MANKATO, MN – Two days after overcoming a two-goal deficit to earn a draw in their Northern Sun opener, the University of Mary women's soccer team was unable to conjure up a second rally on the weekend in a 3-0 loss at #5 Minnesota State University. The Marauders outshot the Mavericks 18-13 but UMary was unable to match Minnesota State's goal production. The Mavericks scored twice in the first four minutes of play.
