Field Hockey: Kenyon suffers first loss on last-minute goal

GAMBIER, Ohio -- The Kenyon College defense did all it could to keep the Owls in Saturday's field hockey game, but the visiting Maroons from Roanoke College scored a goal with 59 seconds on the clock to escape with a 1-0 non-conference win on The Field at Benson Bowl. Roanoke (2-3) had the better of the offensive play throughout the game. The Maroons outshot the Owls, 10-2, and built a 6-1 margin in penalty corners.
