Field Hockey’s Comeback Against Georgetown Falls Short
RICHMOND, Va. — A valiant comeback effort fell just short as William & Mary field hockey lost to Georgetown 3-2 on Sunday afternoon at the University of Richmond's Crenshaw Field. The Tribe (1-4) scored both of its goals in the final five minutes of the fourth quarter and put four of its five shots on goal, but Georgetown (3-3) held on for the win.
