Hoyas Fall in Four Sets to UMBC

WASHINGTON – The Georgetown University volleyball team dropped its final match of the Battle of the Beltway on Sunday afternoon, falling 3-1 (23-25, 25-19, 18-25, 22-25) to UMBC at Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore. With the loss, the Hoyas move to 6-3 overall, while the Retrievers even their record at 3-3. The Retrievers built a four-point lead midway through the opener, using a 6-1 run to pull ahead 17-13.
