Union Earns Two Consolation Titles to End Mary Hosking Invite

GENEVA, N.Y. – Sophomores Jenny Park and Caroline Fitzsimmons both earned consolation bracket titles to lead the Union College women’s tennis team on the second and final day of the Mary Hosking Invitational, hosted by William Smith College on Sunday at the HWS Tennis Center. Union went 6-3 over the three consolation brackets on Sunday, with two of those losses coming to fellow Garnet Chargers. The squad went 4-0 in semifinal matchups, setting up a pair of all-Union consolation finals. In the “B” bracket, Park and first-year Maddy Alecia met in the consolation final after a pair of semifinal victories.…
