Women’s soccer gives up late goal, loses to Cornell 1-0
VESTAL, N.Y. - Visiting Cornell (3-3-2) snapped a scoreless tie with 3:38 left to edge Binghamton women's soccer (4-2-2) 1-0 Sunday afternoon in the Bearcats' final tuneup before conference play. The loss snapped an 11-game home unbeaten streak in the regular season. Cornell began to take over play in the second half and broke through when an initial shot from the left side banked off the far post, giving the Big Red an easy tap in rebound.
