Women’s Tennis Completes Play at Vassar Scramble
The New York University women’s tennis team completed play at the Vassar Scramble on Sunday, September 13, in Poughkeepsie, NY. The Violets faced the host Brewers in the non-team-scoring competition. Three doubles matches and two singles matches were contested on Sunday with NYU winning two of the five contests. Sophia Yang and Norah Staunton were the doubles winners, taking their contest 6-1. In singles, Noelle Faber was the lone winner for NYU. The Violets return to action when they compete at the ITA Northeast Championships October 1-4 in Saratoga Springs, NY.
