Brown Starts Strong For AU Women At D-I-Dominated Brittany Kelly Classic

Ashland University's women's golf team began the non-championship fall portion of the 2026-27 season on Monday (Sept. 14) with 36 holes at Ball State's Brittany Kelly Classic – and the biggest impression was made by a freshman playing her first two collegiate rounds. Freshman Kinsley Brown stood out on Day 1 of the NCAA Division I-dominated 14-team field, ending in ninth place individually and ending at 76-71—147. Brown had four birdies on the day.
