Men’s Golf in Third Place after Day One of Jackson T. Stephens Cup

Frisco, Texas — The Rice Men’s Golf team sits in third-place heading into the final round of stroke play of the season-opening Jackson T. Stephens Cup, played Monday from PGA Frisco. The Owls carded rounds of 286-289 to sit at -1. Senior Reggie Zhu leads Rice in a tie for third-place with Texas’ Matt Comegys at -5, one stroke behind Utah’s Gabriel Palacios and UT’s Daniel Bennett. Zhu carded rounds of 70-69.
