Mixon named SAA Offensive Athlete of the Week

SEWANEE, Tenn. – Sewanee sophomore Barton Mixon has been named Southern Athletic Association Offensive Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday morning. Mixon delivered a standout performance in Sewanee’s road matchup at Brevard, rushing for 174 yards and a touchdown on 27 carries while averaging 6.4 yards per carry. The Savannah, Ga., native also added 30 receiving yards on seven catches, finishing with more than 200 all-purpose yards.
