Monssi Avila-Gutierrez Named Big South Co-Offensive Player of the Week

Rock Hill, S.C. — The Big South Conference has announced its women's soccer weekly awards and Winthrop senior midfielder Monssi Avila-Gutierrez was tabbed the conference's Co-Offensive Player of the Week. Avila-Gutierrez recorded her first hat trick of her career, and Winthrop's first since 2022, on Sunday afternoon's win over South Carolina State.
