Rock lands two PSAC Athletes of the Week

LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Slippery Rock University football team picked up a pair of Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Western Division Athlete of the Week awards Monday with JayJay Jordan earning the offensive award and Elijah Halley picking up defensive honors. The Rock duo were recognized for their efforts in Saturday night’s 59-35 road win at East Stroudsburg, which improved SRU to 2-0 on the year. Jordan, a senior from Reading, Pennsylvania, ran for 228 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries to average 9.5 yards per carry. The 228 yards is the most by any player in the PSAC…
