SMITH NAMED GAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

RUSSELLVILLE, Arkansas – Ouachita Baptist University linebacker Kahlil Smith has been selected as the Great American Conference Defensive Player of the Week. The selection follows Smith's performance in Ouachita's 23-17 road victory over Southeastern Oklahoma State this past Saturday night in Durant. The redshirt sophomore from Frisco, Texas had numerous big plays in the game helping the Tigers secure their first win of the season.
