Amaral Earns ACC Goalkeeper of the Week

CHARLOTTE – Redshirt-junior Valentina Amaral has been named ACC Co-Goalkeeper of the Week, as announced by the league office on Tuesday. This marks the second weekly award for Amaral this season. The Oviedo, Fla.-native led the Demon Deacons to three consecutive shutouts to open the season, and has since accumulated two more, including one on the road. The goalkeeper leads the conference and is third in the nation with: 0.15 goals against average, 0.952 save percentage and five total shutouts.
