Amelia Jones Named CACC Women’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week

Goldey-Beacom freshman Amelia Jones (Dudley, England) continues her torrid start on the course and today was picked Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference Women's Cross Country Rookie of the Week. Jones ended first among collegiate runners and second overall at the Bill Fritz Invitational, closing the four-kilometer race in 15:44.9. This was one week after making the CACC Weekly Honor Roll by virtue of ending 39th at the Delaware Invitational against many Division I runners. Goldey-Beacom returns to action September 26 at the Purple and Gold Open in Unionville, PA.
