Brooks Claims Individual Title as Butler Takes Second at RedHawk Intercollegiate

Behind co-medalist honors from freshman Nicholas Brooks and a top-three finish by Logan Sutto , the Butler men’s golf team placed second at the RedHawk Intercollegiate at Pittsburgh Field Club. The Bulldogs closed the tournament at eight-under 844, finishing seven strokes behind champion VCU. Butler was followed by BIG EAST foe Seton Hall in third (846). There were 14 teams in the field. Brooks completed his first collegiate tournament with a 54-hole total of 204 (-9). His final round included three birdies and his only bogey of the tournament.
