Copeland, Cola earn SIAC volleyball awards

The Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced that Miles outside hitter Karea Copeland and setter Alyzia Cola have been selected for two of the league’s weekly awards. Copeland was chosen Offensive Player of the Week while Cola was named Setter of the Week. Copeland, a sophomore from Newnan, Ga., was second in the SIAC in kills (63), kills per set (3.50) total points (76.5), and points per set (4.25) as Miles went 2-3 last week – all on the road against Division II competition.
