Faust Named SWAC Newcomer of the Week

BATON ROUGE, La. — Freshman Maleah Faust was named the Southwestern Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Week on Tuesday following a standout week that helped the Southern volleyball team earn a historic win over Southeastern and compete against three strong opponents at the Southern Miss Invitational. Faust led the Lady Jaguars with 80 assists during the week, averaging 5.71 assists per set. She also recorded 18 digs, six kills, two blocks and an ace.
