Ferris State Men’s Golf Claims Team Championship At Bulldog Classic

Big Rapids, Mich. – The Ferris State University men’s golf team started its 2026-27 season in strong fashion, winning its own Bulldog Classic event held Monday and Tuesday (Sept. 14-15) at FSU’s Katke Golf Course. The Bulldogs, who held the day one lead, finished with a 12-shot advantage over runner-up Roosevelt in the 10-team field. The competing teams battled thru a delayed start and a rain delay on Tuesday due to weather conditions. The Bulldogs shot rounds of 281, 296 and 287 for an 864 team total.
