GCSU finishes in fourth place at Savannah Lakes

By: Michael MacEachern Assistant Director of Athletics for Communications McCORMICK, S.C. | Georgia College & State University posted its best finish in a men’s golf tournament in four years as the Bobcats came in fourth place at the Savannah Lakes Men’s Invitational hosted by Lander University Tuesday (Sept. 16) afternoon. The Bobcats shot the second-best score in the final round – four-under par 284 – and finished in fourth place at 16-under par 848 on the par 72, 7,032-yard layout at the Monticello Golf Club.
