Lawson, Logan feted by SIAC for second straight week

For the second consecutive week, Tuskegee outside hitter Carmyn Lawson and libero Sakiah Logan earned weekly awards from the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Lawson was named Newcomer of the Week while Logan secured the Defensive Player of the Week award for their performances last week. Lawson, a sophomore from Forney, Texas, hit .346 with 37 kills in three matches (10 sets), where Tuskegee went 2-1. Her 3.70 kills per set led the league and her hitting percentage was seventh.
