Logan, Shemesh earn UAA Athlete of the Week honors for Sept. 14

WALTHAM, Mass. — Brandeis University senior Amaya Logan of Jacksonville, Florida , of the women’s soccer team and junior Daniel Shemesh of Modiin, Israel , of the men’s tennis team, have earned University Athletic Association Athlete of the Week honors for their performances of the week ending Sept. 13. Logan was named the UAA Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week in a 1-1 week. Logan opened the week with a 2-0 win against Babson on Sept. 9, making a career-high seven saves and earning her second shutout of the season and the sixth of her career. On Sept. 12th…
