Men’s Soccer Suffers Setback to Navy

FARMVILLE, Va. – The Lancer pressure mounted in the second half, but unfortunately the equalizer did not materialize. Longwood men’s soccer suffered its second-straight setback, this time 2-0 to visiting Navy at the Longwood Athletics Complex on Tuesday night. Trailing 1-0 at the break, the Lancers (5-2) outshot the Midshipmen, 11-4, in the final 45 minutes. Longwood twice hit the post and put four other chances on frame but could not break through.
