Montes Claims Summit League Defensive Peak Performer of the Week

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – University of North Dakota volleyball student-athlete Lilliana Montes was named a Defensive Peak Performer of the Week by the Summit League on Tuesday afternoon. Montes, a middle blocker from Murrieta, Calif., recorded 19 total blocks during the Fighting Hawks' 2-1 performance at The Joust. She capped the weekend with a career-best 14 total blocks against Sacred Heart, recording five solo blocks and nine block assists.
