Patton’s 16-Save Week Earns Summit League Honor

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. - The Summit League announced Tuesday morning that Kansas City's Anika Patton was this week's Defensive Peak Performer. Anika Patton made a total of 16 saves this week, starting the week by making five saves in a 2-0 shutout win over in-state rival Missouri State to help secure the first win of the season for the Roos. Then this past Sunday evening on the road at (RV) Memphis, Patton made 11 saves to keep the Roos in it, including one she tipped on to her goalpost to keep the Tigers out for the time being.
