Team Effort Lifts Lady Southern Over SUNO

NEW ORLEANS — The Southern University volleyball team had 11 players with multiple kills to lead the Lady Jaguars to victory Tuesday night, defeating Southern University at New Orleans, 3-1, at The Castle. The Lady Jaguars improved to 2-6 on the season with the 25-20, 23-25, 25-18, 25-20 victory, while SUNO dropped to 4-5. Sereniti Johnson led Southern with 13 kills on 28 attacks while hitting .357.
