Women’s volleyball prevails to opening ODAC win at Sweet Briar

SWEET BRIAR, Va. – Averett University women’s volleyball got off the mark on Tuesday night with a opening conference sweep at Sweet Briar University on Tuesday night. Averett (1-5, 1-0 ODAC) hit at a blistering .688 pace in the first set to a 25-8 set win. Despite only 16 attacks, the Cougars tallied 11 kills to their most dominate set win of 2026 thus far.
