Abigail Avallone Honored as CAA Co-Women’s Golfer of the Week

WILLIAMSBURG, Va.— After claiming a share of the individual title at the Elon Invitational, William & Mary freshman standout Abigail Avallone was honored as the CAA Co-Women's Golfer of the Week. Competing in just her second collegiate tournament, Avallone charged up the leaderboard during the final round with a bogey-free, 3-under 68 to finish the 54-hole tournament with a 3-under 210 (71-71-68) and tie with Elon's Lilli Downer, who also earned a share of the CAA's top weekly honor.
