Dunbar Named to ECAC Hockey Preseason All-League Team

DANBURY, Conn. – Senior Tyler Dunbar earned a spot on the ECAC Hockey Preseason All-League team, the conference announced Wednesday. Dunbar is coming off a 33-point campaign, leading to a spot on the AHCA All-America East Second Team in 2025-26. He registered the fifth most points among defensemen in the country, and he was the first Union defender to record double-digit goals in a season (12), resetting the program’s defenseman single-season goal record. The record was previously a five-way tie at nine, held by Shayne Gostisbehere ’15, Jeff Taylor ’17, Nick DeSimone ’18, Brendan Milnamow ’09, and Reid Simonton ’96.…
