Naperville North outlasts Naperville Central in a thrilling 21-14 Crosstown victory

Special to The North Star Friday, Sept. 11, the Naperville North varsity football team powered past the Naperville Central Redhawks 21-14, fueled by a dominant three-touchdown performance on the ground from junior running back Jayke Collins (28). Dating back to 1970 when Naperville High School split into North and Central, the Crosstown Classic has served as the ultimate rivalry between the two sides of Naperville.
