Peacock women’s soccer’s strong second half spoiled by Lincoln’s late goal

FAYETTE, Iowa – Peacock women’s soccer (0-4-2, 0-4 GLVC) battled Lincoln (Mo.) (3-3, 2-2 GLVC) on Wednesday evening, but Lincoln’s Tetee Jallah scored in the 80th minute to win the match for the Blue Tigers. UIU’s Giovanna Alexa Garcia totaled three shots with two on goal to lead the Peacocks, while sophomore Avery Harding totaled six saves at goalkeeper.
