Sparks Leads Eagles to 2-1 Victory over Transylvania

WILMORE, Ky. — The Asbury women’s soccer team (3-1-1, 0-0 CCS) erased a halftime deficit with two second-half goals from senior captain Anna Sparks to earn a 2-1 victory over Transylvania (2-2-1, 0-0 CCS). Transylvania struck first in the 28th minute when Eva Blanke found the back of the net, giving the visitors a 1-0 lead at the break. The Eagles responded quickly after halftime.
