Stucker’s Record Run Earns NAIA National Weekly Honor
KANSAS CITY, Mo. — After rewriting the John Brown University record book with the fastest 5K in women’s program history, sophomore Abigail Stucker was named the NAIA Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week on Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 16), marking the first national weekly award in program history. Stucker, a Fort Worth, Texas native, placed fifth in a field of 138 runners at Missouri State’s Queen City After Dark on Friday evening (Sept. 11), finishing the 5K in 17:44.
