UTSA Athletics saddened to learn about passing of football alum Jacob Graner

Football September 16, 2026 SAN ANTONIO — UTSA Athletics is saddened to learn that Jacob Graner, who played for the football team from 2016 to 2019, passed away on Sept. 12 at the age of 28. The family will be receiving friends at Roper Funeral Home in Jasper, Georgia, on Friday, Sept. 18, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. ET, followed by services at 6:30 p.m. Catholic Mass will be held Saturday, Sept. 19, at Our Lady of the Mountains at 9 a.m. An offensive lineman out of Dripping Springs High School in Dripping Springs, Texas, Graner appeared in 11 games...
