Women’s Golf Fires Multiple School Records in Fourth Place Finish at the Pirate Collegiate Classic

GREENVILLE, N.C. – Longwood women’s golf matched the program 18-hole record with a 2-under 286 as a team on Tuesday, leading to a fourth-place finish in a 13-team field at the Pirate Collegiate Classic. Over the two-day event, t he Lancers established a new 54-hole school record of 4-over par 868. NC State won the tournament, shooting a 13-under 851, while UNCG (4-under 860) and host East Carolina (1-under 863) finished second and third.
