Women’s soccer opens PAC play with road victory

PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Sept 16) – Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) play began for the Waynesburg University women’s soccer team in style against Chatham on Wednesday evening. The Yellow Jackets downed the host Cougars 5-1. Waynesburg (3-3, 1-0) notched its first goal of conference play when freshman Kennedy Prestidge (Hanover, Va. / Hanover) split the pipes in the 26th minute on the high right corner of the net off an assist from junior defender Abby Ngugi (Jefferson Hills, Pa. / Thomas Jefferson).
